Any tribe/culture/country dependent on agriculture would find harvesting season as a reason to rejoice. Wikipedia describes it thus: "A harvest festival is an annual celebration that occurs around the time of the main harvest of a given region" -

An important element of the harvest festivities is DANCE. Folk dances are an integral part of rural and tribal culture. There are many forms of harvest dances perfomed around the world, some by boys, some by girls, and some by both sexes. In this presentation I try to recreate the essence of the Harvest festival ,the woman and the basket holding fruits of the first harvest - normally offered to the gods, And the BEATING OF THE DRUMS ... from our 'not so lonely anymore' drummer boy.
